Here are some upkeep log entries from a significant airline – or so the email says, showing the problems noted by pilots (P) and also solutions recorded by mechanics (S).

S: That’s what they’re there for!

S: OFF constantly inoperative in OFF mode.

P: Alleged crack in windscreen.
S: Suspect you’re right.

P: Number Three or more engine missing.
S: Engine entirely on right wing after simple search. [The pilot meant serp 'misfiring'.]

P: Aircrafts handles funny.
S: Planes warned to straighten way up, fly right, and be significant.

P: Radar hums.
S: Reprogrammed radar with words.

P: Mouse throughout cockpit.
S: Cat installed.

Communication is actually difficult in the work world, along with our private lives. An individual said “Whatever you say, believe it’s been misunderstood,” and probably a good idea.

In this case, we could see the misunderstandings, the laughter and also the exasperation. Can you imagine the pilot assuming there was “autoload” on his or her airline?
